Sometimes life gets in the way of knitting.

It's been an especially tough week at Pirate Towers, the husband is very poorly and there's a lot of other stuff going on too.

My WIPs were a second toe-up sock, and yet another Clap, but even they seemed too taxing.

I needed something soothing, so what could be better than swathes of stocking stitch with minimal shaping, made from Kidsilk Night?

The pattern is my second favourite from the most recent Knitscene. The story behind why I'm not working on my favourite project can wait for another day...
